Any way you look at it during scary times people tend to soul search for answers more. When people think the world might end (or their little world or job) because of a potential war like now, people tend to look for peace and hope and a way forwards. 

 

So, the saying, "There are no Atheists in Foxholes" is a true statement of wartime always. Because if you think your guts are going to be blown out the next moment you better have more to depend on than your underpants.
