IF you like to write:

Write about something you know about because when we write it usually shows what we actually know about and what we don't. We might be interested in other things but usually what we know the most about might be the best thing to write about.

For example, if you are going to write about being a virgin and you are 12 years old that might be useful if you are still a virgin. But, if you are 80 years old and still a virgin I'm not sure who your audience is going to be unless it is other people who have chosen to be a virgin all their lives too.

In my life I often write about my experiences growing up or intuitive and supernatural experiences. Others might be interested in other things and that is what they should write about. I can also write about things I know about like Traveling to India and Nepal in the mid 1980s or to South Korea a couple of times in the last 5 years or so and to Europe the last time now in 2011 or to Hawaii a year ago last fall my wife and I went to Kauai and stayed there a few weeks and then stayed on Maui another week after that after our friends flew home that stayed with us on Kauai.

So, what I'm saying here is write about what you have experienced. Many many people around the world might never go to India or Nepal or to Europe or to Hawaii or even here to California and what you write about might be very interesting to them. I was speaking to someone who had never been to California before and was saying he shouldn't leave his wallet and smartphone sitting on the table when he walks away to do something else. He was used to feeling this safe in his home country. I said countries like that are some places in europe but also South Korea or Japan where Honor is an important thing.

However, I said places like the U.S. that are polyglot nations might have some loyalty but because say 200 countries peoples live here you never know when someone might walk off with your wallet or your keys or phone. So, putting your wallet on the table is a bad idea here.

But, on the other hand I almost always put my smartphone on a dining room table in a restaurant for a variety of reasons because this makes sense to me. For example, I might get a phone call, and I don't like the radiation of my phone in any pocket on my body. So, if I'm not walking somewhere I usually take it out of my pocket and put it either on the table or on a shelf in my car so it isn't on my body all the time. This protects me both from the constant radiation "Ping" from the nearest cell tower and my phone as well as when I'm talking hands free through one of our cars or trucks.

So, write what you know about the most because people will notice if you have no idea what you are talking about even if something interests you. But, sometimes writing about something that interests you (even if you don't know a lot about it) interests people because of your enthusiasm for a subject too.

So, happy writing!
