Stargate (1994)
I saw this movie when it first came out in 1994 and was very impressed with the story line as it agreed with many thoughts I had about how humans likely were interbred with "The Gods" or humanoids who lived thousands of years. Only we were genetically engineered using their DNA with Earth Ape dna to create us so we would have shorter lifespans but be able to withstand the bacteria and microbes of Earth and stay alive unlike Humanoids from other planets who likely could not do this without some kind of space suit to stay alive. So, many aspects of Stargate are very logical in the way this story is put together on many different levels.
