If I break down the Scientific Method into Hypotheses, Theories and Laws, then a belief beyond certainty likely would fall into the realm of certainty somewhere between a Theory and a Law depending upon what we are talking about.

Often in life we have to move on our hunches in life to get anywhere at all. So, when you sense something so strong you go with it often you are rewarded in life. Even if the reward isn't immediate often it is forthcoming.
