So imagine all cities are gone in aligned nations (GONE) with everyone in city centers and military bases dead in all aligned countries. Then people freaked out and killed each other to survive. So, no technology left within about 50 years time, civilization ended immediately. You have to imagine what happened to Lahaina and in Paradise California where literally everything is gone, food, water, power shelter, sanitation, TV, Internet, etc. in every city on earth in an aligned nation.
So, this is what happened starting on September 11th 2001 on the first timeline when doomsday weapons were loosed (mostly by accident) from freaked out people worldwide who didn't really know what was happening. However, once one nation set off doomsday weapons it caused all other nations to do the same thing and then all civilization was gone within the first month.
Just imagine what would happen if every city on earth looked like Lahaina all burned down now and you get the picture of what actually happened on the first timeline.
Luckily, we built a 2nd timeline with the help of the Galactic Government and Arcane and Elohar and Ragna etc. etc. etc.
But, the problem with the 2nd timeline is that global Warming likely is going to kill 7 billion people on earth by fires, hurricanes, flooding and droughts between 2023 and 2100. This is the completely different problem that we are now facing on the 2nd timeline we presently live on.
