bi polar issues

I was talking recently with someone who was dealing with long term bi-polar issues. I also recognized that this person was intuitively gifted but was having trouble discerning what was real and what was delusional which is a common problem among many young intuitives. And unless you have someone who has survived these times (and lived through them) life can be very difficult for someone like this.

He said to me quite honestly, "I'm afraid people know what I'm thinking!"
My answer to him was from someone who is a life long intuitive but also someone from pioneer heritage here in the U.S. since 1725. So, my response to him was, "F--- them if they can't take a joke! It doesn't matter if people know what you are thinking or misinterpret what you are thinking or anything else ever. The only thing important is that you know what you are thinking. All sorts of things go on. Some people can read everyone's minds and some people are half assed about it. It really doesn't matter what anyone thinks but you! F--- them and the horse they rode in on."

You can't care at all what people think. You just have to be clear about what you are thinking and doing and be polite to people. F--- what they think. What do you think? What you think about all this is the only thing that matters in the end. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. You have to be strong to survive in this world! Talking like that won't keep you alive!"

My older daughter looked at me and smiled. She knew this was what I would say to him. He desperately needed someone like me to say this to him for him to have a good life in the future.

Note: I was never bi polar but I have been a life long Intuitive. So, I know what it takes to keep going if you are an intuitive. I knew immediately this kid was a very gifted intuitive but having trouble separating fact from fiction. So, I gave him the talk so he could survive his intuitive gifts. However, I have no idea what it is actually like to be Bi polar.
