Hawaii

We boarded our plane in San Francisco for Hawaii today and we wound up in the nicest room (condo actually) that I have ever stayed in in Hawaii. My older daughter and her boyfriend flew simultaneously from Oregon to Hawaii and met my wife and I and youngest daughter flew there from San Francisco.

This is sort of an early celebration of our 20th anniversary when we all had the time to actually do this while the weather in Hawaii is still nice. IT is about 70 degrees at it's coldest point and under 82 to 85 at it's hottest. It rained lightly so I showered on the water coming off the roof of our condominium to cool down because I need to get used to the warmer temperatures here day and night, and as we watched the coconut palms sway with the rain playing with the moon and stars and quickly moving tropical rain clouds. Hawaii is one of the most amazing places that I have ever been here on earth and I call myself very lucky and grateful to have lived here for a while in 1974 and 1989 and 1990. My older daughter now 25 walked her first steps here when she was 7 months old and around the same time threw her diaper away telling us she was through with them too. (almost 25 years ago  this year).

So, it is great to have my wife and older daughter and her boyfriend and my younger daughter who will also turn 18 while we are here along with us for awhile.
