The Other Side of Heaven (2001)

The youtube entry should take you to a version of the movie available on youtube for free at the bottom of the word buttons. I'll try it before I leave it to see if the button works right for you to watch this movie if you haven't seen it already. It is about a young missionary who goes to the south pacific and barely survives it trying to save souls. I find it interesting because the whole pacific region has changed so much since then. His experiences are very wild and wooly compared to what you might experience today going to the same places. So, this is a true story of a young man who goes into this region alone as a part of his missionary work for his church.

As the sunset tonight on Maui my wife mentioned this movie. When I looked it up I was surprised it is for free on youtube and Anne Hathaway is the young man's lady waiting faithfully for him at home in Idaho Falls while he barely survives his mission.
