It's been snowing constantly between about 3 or 4 am and 6: 30 am here in Mt. Shasta. The locals tell me that this is only the 2nd good snow down in town this year which is kind of unusual.
To me, what is unusual is snow being in town so late in the year. But, that's just me. Also, mountains above above about 5000 feet throughout the north state and some places much lower are getting snow too.
For example, the City of Mt. Shasta is about 3,500 feet above sea level. So, near Mt. Shasta it is possible that everywhere that altitude or higher is now being snow covered.
So, what I'm telling you is that trucks and cars on Interstate 5 are being affected by snow on the road coming down right now. And Mt. Ashland Pass (one of the highest points) could be pretty tricky for everyone on Interstate 5.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
