Political Correctness deconstructed

I was thinking about where political correctness actually came from. It mostly came from my generation traveling the world and going to college and understanding that you can't be bigoted like the 70% of Americans used to be that never got a passport because they were too afraid or too poor to travel and meet people different from themselves in other countries. So, young people in the 1960s through 1980s visited other countries who were college students or graduates, who might have been peace corps volunteers and all sorts of other things. They came back to the U.S. with a much better understanding of the world and realized that to prevent a nuclear war or worse that people had to have a more polite way of viewing all minorities on earth.

Some time in the 1980s this became institutionalized in college campuses across the U.S. and it started to happen that if you were not politically correct you would get fired from college as a professor or expelled from those colleges if you were not politically correct.

So, this institutionalization of political correctness became Nazi in itself.

In other words "too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing".

And now we have the "push back" of Trumpism.


However, racism and calling people derogatory names and hitting them is just going to make all this much worse as we all now see.

So, what is the answer for the U.S. and the world to survive and not drive the human race extinct?

It is more likely that the U.S. especially in places like California on the coast where people of all nations seem to get along the best of all races you are likely to see the best answers come from over time.

However, to have this solution you cannot force people into boxes like Political Correctness inside which NO ONE FITS really.

Naturally, all ethnic groups discriminate against all other ethnic groups and nations. It's true that some way to keep the peace needs to be found.

However, Political Correctness is a failed way to do this for the present. Because continuing to FORCE political correctness will logically be the U.S. becoming a 3rd world nation very soon within 25 to 50 years at the latest.

This all might have been useful to reduce violence in the U.S. and around the world. But now, it is having the opposite effect as you all can see worldwide right now.

It appears millions are going to die worldwide no matter what we do here in the U.S. at this point in the world.

Which means "People have had just enough of the NAZI point of view of Political Correctness.

Because too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing in that:

"if people cannot have rational conversations about what is actually bothering them, no matter what it is you have cultural insanity like we have now!"

So, Trumpism is a push back on political correctness because it isn't working in any kind of rational way now in the U.S.

It is preventing us from solving our real problems and will result in the U.S. becoming a 3rd world nation at this point now because:

"If you cannot have rational discussions about what is really bothering both you and the nation your nation state fails just as sure as Somalia did in the 1990s or Syria and Iraq are failing now or Libya has already failed.

Because if you cannot speak the truth about Anything your nation state soon becomes a failed state.

And without some new way forward the U.S. is headed towards failure in the next 25 to 50 years.

So, as a result we are in the middle of a new social revolution here in the U.S.
