What started Islamic Terrorism?

I suppose there are many ways you could view this. From my perspective I can start about when I was born. Basically starting in World War II (though this actually started in World War I or before) something awful happened to Jewish people through Hitler. The world (especially europe and the U.S. felt really bad about what happened to Jewish people and decided to give them Israel even though other Palestinians owned it then. So, in some ways it was sort of like when white people came to the U.S. and slowly took all the Native Americans land. This is what happened to the Palestinians and this sort of started the Islamic Terrorist war with the western world during the 1940s.

However, oil changed all this a lot as more and more was discovered places in the Middle East and this was an economic factor too because Saudi sweet Crude was some of the best oil found anywhere on earth.

However, at least from my perspective growing up in the U.S. and studying history (just in regard to World War II this is how the present wave of Islamic Terrorism started with colonialism in the Middle East and AFrica of European nations.

Then it has sort of evolved into what it is now. It's all an after effect of European colonialism which started back in the 1500s with Columbus and has some consequences still in the present world even though most places are self ruled now with the exception of Israel which likely will remain like this for  a lot of reasons.

So, the Middle East and Africa started in the 20th century as a pie that was divided up by European nations and the U.S. and now we have the present mess we are dealing with as a direct consequence of all that happening originally.

In the old world and somewhat in the new "Might makes right" and this is how things sort of have always been here on earth. But now, many new consequences are having to be dealt with like millions of refugees from Syria who don't have anywhere to live anymore. And all this likely will get much worse over the next 50 years or so. It isn't likely to get better anytime soon because of overpopulation of the middle east now.
