Here is a question you wouldn't expect:
Why do Russians think the U.S. is financing ISIS?
When I first heard this I thought it was crazy just like you do now too if you live in the U.S. or Europe.
However, then I began to think about it a little and discovered why they might think this.
Saudi Arabia and other Sunni nations don't support ISIS directly. However, their people often do.
So, here would be the logic:
Because Saudi Arabia and other Sunni nations are allied with the U.S. therefore their logic would go like this:
Because the U.S. is allied with Sunni nations it would be thought (by nations not allied with any Sunni ruled nations like Russia, that since the U.S. is allied with Saudi Arabia and other Sunni nations and since many people (not the governments) support ISIS, then the logic goes that the U.S. is financing ISIS by being allied with all the Sunni nations that it is allied with or supporting in any way.
So, this would be the convoluted logic that gets Russians to think that the U.S. is financing ISIS.
However, what might be important to understand about this would be:
"Russians often also think the only Good Sunni Muslim is a dead Sunni Muslim" which is why they were conducting genocide since the Fall in Syria against ALL Sunni Muslims if they didn't support Assad.
The other reason for this is the Sunni Muslims in Chechnya and the Sunni Muslims in any Soviet States that are no longer a part of Russia.
So, there is a lot of history also around this.
So, though the logic is convoluted to you and me, you can now see how they get there.
Also, 15 of the hijackers during 2001 at 9-11 were Saudi Arabian citizens which is another paradox in the middle of this paradox too.
However, all this can be best answered by saying oil has been very important wherever you live on earth and often money Trump's politics which is what has always been going on in the middle East since the Saudi Oilfields were discovered long ago.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
