You prevent them from surviving an actual conflict if it occurs. The police are not always going to be there and sometimes police are corrupt and could be the face of conflict itself. IF you train children to "in all situations to be polite and politically correct" they likely won't survive an actual conflict when it arises because they will NOT have the tools to end that conflict whether it is a verbal conflict or a physical one.
Whereas people who grew up in my era didn't use guns on other people much because we were forced to have to yell and argue with each other and to find ways to de-escalate conflicts before people died because most of us had seen people go to the hospital back then when conflicts didn't de-escalate.
If you have no tools to de-escalate conflicts then people are just going to get a gun and shoot each other or worse.
Children need to be taught ways to de-escalate conflicts but also how to fight as well for when conflicts cannot be de-escalated in real life. This is just the world we presently live in.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
