At least 100 or more trees have blown down in Monterey Area
My wife just spoke to people in the Monterey area who are friends and they said over 100 trees have blown down there and have knocked out power to many areas. I'm thinking it would take a gust of at least 85 miles per hour or more to do that to bring down that many trees which would likely be mostly Monterey Pines and Oaks in that area. Power likely is a mess there too. Many areas people aren't allowed to even go into without a security person with them because the mess is just so bad people can get lost because all the normal routes are blocked by trees and debris.
