"My cat saved my son."
That would be the gist of this video. But it's more like this: dog bites boy, cat scares dog away, family posts video. It goes viral.
Because if you uploaded surveillance footage of your cat saving you from a dog, it would probably get clicks, too.
An an ABC affiliate in Bakersfield, Calif. reported, the boy in question is 4-year-old Jeremy Triantafilo. A neighbor's dog dragged him straight off his bike and started biting him. But if it wasn't for his cat, Tara, the injury could have been worse (he only needed a few stitches). She leaped to Jeremy's aid, causing the dog to run from the scene.
"It just shows how much she really has a family-oriented mindset," Jeremy's father, Roger Triantafilo, told the station. Good kitty.
