Kissinger on Ukraine and Putin

lso, the big question with Ukraine right now is: will Russian President Putin make a deal?  Fareed speaks with former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger for his take.
“I think one has to interpret Putin not Hitler-like, as he has been, but as a Russian czar who is trying to achieve the maximum for his country,” Kissinger says. “Usually, those methods are excessive and we are correct in standing up to it. But we also have to know when the confrontation should end.”
And, who is the world's number one economy?  China or the United States?  There's been a lot of information...and misinformation out there recently. GPS will try to sort things out.
Plus, how does the world – including the United States – see the issue of climate change? Fareed looks at a new Pew survey in light of the White House’s recent climate assessment.

I think Kissinger is right about this. Though many (including myself) might jump to thinking Putin is crazy like Hitler was, the right point of view is likely that he is crazy like a Czar of Russia and like a Fox.

In other words, he is rational but Hitler was irrational whereas Putin only wants what he thinks will help his country in the short and long run.

So, from Putin's point of view the last 20 years or so since the early 1990s were about Russian recovery so he or someone else could bring back the greatness of Russia to a Czarist or Soviet level once again by expanding out Russian Borders once again.

Also, the Russian people won't support what Putin is doing if too many people die doing it (on both sides).
