The longer this all goes on the more likely it is to me that someone had to shoot this plane down. Whether it was Malaysia, India, Australia, the U.S., China or another country or even pirates it is hard to say.
However, the way everyone's attention has been averted in odd directions ongoing I think it was shot down. If it was shot down the countries that knew about this wouldn't want the relatives and friends of the passengers or pilots or crew to know this. So, everything would be handled just like it is now.
Also, no one would want the wreckage found either and no one would want the black boxes found because the evidence of a missile strike would be found in the wreckage. Also, if the black boxes were found likely they would also find that the problem originally was the automatic pilot taking the plane above 45,000 feet (which is known by all investigators at present) and decompressing it so either the cockpit or the whole plane decompressed. At that point likely the plane was on autopilot until it was shot down or crashed depending upon what happened.
However, everything the way this has been dealt with leads me to believe the plane was shot down with a missile and no country that knows about it wants this to become public knowledge ever. The reason it would have been shot down is on the ground no one could be sure it wasn't a terrorist action, and because there was no answer from anyone on board as it neared a country's airspace it likely was shot down. This is also in the best interests of Malaysia, Boeing and all companies and countries with this knowledge. So, it never will become public knowledge regarding what actually happened to the plane or passengers.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
