Today was a real breakthrough day in my recovery so far. My wife wanted me to have some scrambled eggs and I thought from my experience this last week what just might work. So I said, "Well. If you only scramble one egg and put in no salt, or anything else and especially no cheese I might get it down and keep it down.
So, when we went over to a friend's and picked him up and drove up the mountain with him in my wife's car with her driving, when we came down from the mountain after being up there at Bunny Flats for about 10 to 20 minutes we also went in and my friend fixed me a scrambled egg.
So, even though I don't like cooked egg white by itself without whipping the eggs to froth them so you can't see any differences, he made them his style which is much less scrambled.
So, when he gave them to me it made me feel a teeny bit queesy. So, I dug away all the white pieces and settled on a few pieces that were almost all yellow and well cooked. I was able to keep this down so I realized this is a really big breakthrough in my overall recovery. Whoopee!
The last time I was able to keep scrambled eggs down or anything really solid for that matter was last Friday morning before I drove up here in the first place. It's been quite a week! So, 7 or 8 days later being able to eat even 1/2 to 3/4 of one egg is a really big deal in my long term recovery.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
