My funny thought for the morning since about 3 to 6 am or so is that "God just tricked me likely into losing a whole bunch of weight."
At the same time this experience on another level reminds me the most of a 4 day no water no food Vision quest I did under the tutelage of a Blackfoot Sioux Tradition Medicine man on the South fork of the Trinity River in Northern California in 1983 when I was likely 35.
Then my funny thought this morning was: "Wow! I'm a Shasta Hotel Room Cave Yogi. I look out my wonderful view window (or cave) out at beautiful snow capped Mt. Shasta (the snow melted off hasn't reach tree line yet. So, from a little below tree line the main part of the mountain on this side is sort of solid snow. So, I feel a little like a cave yogi removing the skins or cloths blocking the entrance to maintain usually the likely 55 to 65 range you get in a cave year around and looking out upon the Himalayan Mountain Fastness.
Only in my case I open the curtains and it is very bright today and the mountain is crystal clear too. So, now this week in some ways is a complete paradox which I also find anything to do with God, Life or Death to always Be anyway!
I have come to the point of view, however, that you must embrace the paradox, because if you let it work on you often you quickly become crazy or dead!
Only by embracing the paradox of Life, Death, God, Enlightenment, everything, do you have any hope of surviving it without just dying or going crazy.
The beginning of embracing this infinite paradox is self acceptance which often is a beginning of enlightenment (at least in this lifetime).
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
