Because Trump has already said if the Republican party doesn't support him fully he will run as an independent. And since many many of his supporters have never voted before and are now inspired by him alone it means even if he runs as an independent he still might get 20% of the total vote which would automatically elect Hillary if she isn't indicted as a Republican party Witch hunt like the Republicans did to both Hillary and Bill in Whitewater years ago now.
So, if the Republicans block Trump from being the Republican nominee they are going to splinter the Republican party either way into factions of people supporting Trump, people against Trump, people who are angry that they did this to Trump. So, I see at least 3 or 4 factions coming out of the RNC (Republican National Convention) any way you look at it at this point.
So, by blocking Trump they also block ANY Republican from winning as President including Trump. And if they succeed in indicting Hillary, no one could be president.
So, much for the U.S.
Maybe Bernie Sanders would become president because he would be the only one left. Republicans wouldn't be happy with that either.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
