If?

If Donald Trump was elected and protected the U.S. jobs by nullyfying as President all our trade deals and protecting U.S. workers thereby and putting up trade barriers to the loss of all American Jobs. If he did this it might be useful to preventing the U.S. from becoming a 3rd world nation.

The problem is that our wages are likely the highest in the world. However, our wages are because of our high cost of living regarding food, shelter, gasoline, clothes. Without our high wages things would be even worse than they are now here in the U.S.

So, only by protecting middle Class jobs and preventing U.S. companies from going overseas for cheaper workers can the U.S. economically survive and not become a 3rd world nation because wage wise we simply cannot compete anymore unless we fire everyone and just hire robots for everything.

But, this doesn't solve the social problems now destroying our nation where people cannot find enough middle Class jobs because 63,000 factories have closed or gone overseas since 2001.

So, unless we protect middle Class jobs our country will be simply another 3rd world nation within 10 to 25 years and nothing else.

So, we are at a crossroads of how we solve this problem and a mistake now is the end of our great Country for a variety of reasons.

However,

I do not support Trump building a wall between Mexico and the U.S. because this could just spark something like a Guerrilla war between Mexico and the U.S.

I do not support Trump advocating violence to get what he wants.

I do not support many things Trump stands for because he is likely to start a war that will kill millions of Americans like the one caused by the STock market Crash of 1929, ten years of people starving to death in the U.S. followed by World War II and somehow prosperity for the U.S. through all that in the 1950s and 1960s until the Arab Oil embargo screwed our economy up completely by raising the price of oil by 4 to 8 times during the 1970s and ever since.

So, Trump in total likely will get us all killed so that is the main problem with Trump.

But, if he was in and protected American Jobs so we didn't have to become just another 3rd world nation. Then he (just for this) might be seen as another George Washington or something like that.

So, as bad as he might be he also might save the nation economically (if he doesn't get us all killed first).
