What Is A Demagogue?

I have been listening to people calling Trump a Demagogue and wondering specifically what it means. I know it's not a good term because it is also applied to people like Hitler and Stalin for example.

It's basically I guess saying things that freak people out, it's playing to their fears rather than to their good sides to manipulate them to control them.

Basically, it's a psychological control technique used on the masses most often used by Dictators and not people in a democracy which is why so many people are against Trump both in the Democratic and Republican Party as well as Independents now. Because they are worried by his rhetoric that he could turn into another Hitler or something like that.

However, after reading all this I can see why so many "Common people" are flocking to Trump. It is because he speaks their language and isn't just talking over their heads like most politicians tend to do.

So, if the Republicans and Democrats were more honest with the people and less politically correct Trump wouldn't be winning so many primaries.

The people have turned to Trump out of desperation and it is important to realize that desperate people are only one step away from anarchy.

So, people should watch what they say and do now because (right or wrong) the Middle Class down is really really pissed off and isn't going to take it anymore it appears.
