except that since i had mountaineering skis on I was able to work hard and to stay on top of the Avalanche unlike this video. Also, I was alone with no one to rescue me so I had the motivation to go all all in movements trying to stay alive then. My shirt was off because it was spring skiing and hot out and when the avalanche stopped when it hit trees and luckily it didn't kill me by throwing me into a tree too fast I was buried up to my chest in the snow. However, because I could breathe and was chilled by the snow up to my bare chest in the snow I was very motivated to dig myself out no matter how much effort this took. But, I never skied above tree line on Mt. Shasta in the Spring time after this experience alone after that either because I didn't want to die.
