The Seer Kids in "Game of Thrones"

I think the way this is done is pretty good. It demonstrates how Seers were a part of the genetics of Kings and royal blood lines always. It was one of the ways these blood lines stayed alive through all the chaos of the middle ages. Seeing the future is an amazing gift. But, just like the kids in this state they are still vulnerable because they either aren't grown up or one is paralyzed from the waist down. And also not being grown up they don't have big bodies to be able to fight with swords and spears yet other adult people who might harm them. But, sometimes they can fight in other ways. So, they have to find other ways to survive. And their goals likely don't make sense to others. However, often people with second sight survive when most others don't simply because they have a better idea of what is coming not only for themselves but also for everyone around them. And this is why likely all noble blood lines that survived the test of time had some of the Blood of Seers among them to this day.
