McCain Responds to Gohmert Attacking Him: It’s Not Malice if ‘Someone Has No Intelligence’

Last weekend at the Values Voters Summit, Republican congressman Louie Gohmert took a swipe at John McCain as someone who’s “supported al-Qaeda,” and during an appearance on NBC Nightly News Wednesday night, McCain responded to the remark by dismissing Gohmert as someone of “no intelligence.”
Brian Williams spoke with McCain about the polarization in Washington, bringing up Gohmert’s comment about McCain and saying considering how heated the shutdown fight was, it “hardly made a blip.”
McCain simply had this to say in response to Gohmert.
