Where are the regulators while bankers are devising the latest unfortunate financial innovations"?

Where are the regulators while investors are herding and bankers are devising the latest in a string of unfortunate financial “innovations”? Like the rest of us, they fail to recognize the danger, and too often they add to it by pursuing their own agendas.

IN other words, when regulators are in bed with bankers devising the latest unfortunate financial "innovation" then a crash (either a Great Recession or a Great Depression or something much worse worldwide) could happen like now with Trump in power.

 

Billionaires are all only out for millionaires and billionaires, so what happens when in the next crash ONLY the billionaires and millionaires survive it worldwide? 

You might think this is far fetched but just remember there are 8 billion people on the planet and if farming is disrupted (For any reason) then only the millionaires and billionaires will survive (at least in theory).
