How would Purple destroy the Solar System (before she fixed it)?

She fixed it through time travel after she destroyed it and removed permanently from time all those who were born before they were born by sterilizing their mothers so there was no conception. However, in the moment she had to destroy the solar system because things had gotten so out of hand.

How would she do this? The easiest way to do this because of the millions of miles of space involved would be to "Blow up" the Sun.  If you blew up the sun pieces of Solar Plasma would explode out in all directions. Any life including earth that was hit by any pieces of this plasma would be instantly destroyed. But, any planets that were not destroyed by exploding plasma as the sun disappeared would drift off into space then because there would be no gravity source (the Sun). Also, though the atmosphere might even stay on earth through all this, earth would shoot out into space with atmosphere in some kind of supreme ice age where all water on the planet would freeze during this time. So, at this point in a permanent ice age where "All water freezes" it would be very unlikely that any life would survive very long unless it was underground in caves that were airtight with grow lights and enough water to grow food. But every kind of life on the surface (even polar bears) likely would die pretty quick and soon the oceans would freeze solid and kill all life in the oceans too. So, even if the planet survived the solar blast, the flying out into space and all water including the oceans all freezing solid would kill everything on the surface of the planet. So, yes, someone might survive for awhile under the earth in an airtight space with a way to generate electricity with grow lights and water so they could grow enough food underground to survive for awhile.

But, she only did this so she could go back in time and not do this. It was an emergency measure only taken as a last resort when things got so out of hand it was the only way left to stop the problem before it affected the rest of the galaxy like an infection.
