This is a fact of the 9-11 commission. Also, it is debatable within the 9-11 commission as to whether the Saudi Government was directly involved in this plot or not because one Saudi official in the United States at the time appears to be involved in the plot. Can you hold all the Saudi Government complicit to one Saudi Official being involved in the 9-11 plot? Likely not. But it still is kind of suspicious anyway. If Russia or China did something like this it is quite possible we would have gone to war with that country. But not Saudi ARabia?
So, this is all pretty strange. Now, Saudi ARabia is threatening to remove 750 billion dollars of investments from the U.S. stock market and other investments if the U.S. Congress makes the Saudi Government liable for 9-11. This is what the Saudi Government is threatening to do.
Another point here is that right now the Saudi Government is buying up advanced weapons systems like crazy right now to where they are buying more weapons than any other countries but the U.S. and China right now which is also pretty scary when you think about it. However, they aren't weaponing up to fight the U.S. the primary country they want to fight is Iran through proxy wars in Yemen and Iraq and Syria. So, the weapons are not to use against the U.S. or Europe they are to use against Iran, Assad, and Yemen.
Also, it is likely that Saudi Arabia has or will buy nuclear weapons from North Korea or Pakistan to use on Iran. This is also very likely given what is happening in regard to Iran and Yemen right now.
