I was reading the recent article I posted from 2014
The ultra-lethal drones of the future | New York P...
and I got to thinking about this more. For example, the toy drones you see all over the U.S. might be built by the millions soon instead of the thousands. Imagine each one of these "toy drones" fitted with a hand grenade with the pin already pulled with a false pin in place by the drone to be pulled when near a soldier or combatant on the other side. This combined with instead of plastic propellers replaced with uncovered stainless steel ones when it would be crashed into a combatant is likely the future of smaller drones in warfare to crush quickly the enemy by thousands of these being sent at once. It is true that an EMP burst might fry the guidance systems of thousands of these at once but also likely would "Fry" all cell phones and communication devices in the area as well as make all vehicles including tanks, planes, and Humvees inoperable too. However, in an emergency I could see if thousands of drones were coming armed with stainless steel unguarded propellers with one hand grenade each dropping from the sky on an army somewhere that an EMP burst might be the only way to keep your army alive under those conditions even if all tanks, planes, humvees and communication devices were instantly fried.
An EMP burst is an "Electromagnetic Pulse" that you get from a nuke going off or a device built to generate such a burst that knocks out anything electronic within a mile or more of the device either temporarily or permanently depending upon the size of the EMP burst.
Because of my title to this article I realized I needed to say more:
Imagine little man made beetles capable of boring their way into a human beings heart or brain. Imagine a bird drone capable of either pecking someone's eyes out or just diving at 200 miles per hour through their helmets and into their brains because of just the velocity of their descent alone.
All these things are likely a part of the future of drone warfare.
(You can see the hummingbird and the beettle used in the "Eye in the Sky" movie right now before they are also deployed as weapons in the future likely.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
