There are likely a lot of you out there who want to start blogs but who don't know how to code in HTML (Hyper text markup language) which the whole internet is based upon along with TCPIP (Transfer Control Protocol/ Internet Protocol).
However, one of the reasons I blog here is all I have to do here if I am under the heading "Compose" instead of in "HTML" which are the two choices you have here to write in, I can do everything by simply writing like you would on a typewriter or keyboard anything or I can Copy and Paste from anywhere without having to write code. So, if you can write you can publish and if you want to quote from other sources (as long as you give credit to where that came from) blogging is really easy here at Blogger.com (Blogspot). Also, your writings go all over the world wherever Google goes to because this is a part of Google.
If you are ONLY going to publish stuff you personally write yourselves you can add advertisements if you wish which might bring some money to you. However, I don't need to do this so I don't. Mostly I don't use advertisements because you are treated much differently if you are a not for profit site than if you are. Since no money is involved at all here I'm usually left alone and still have 1,030,000 visits already.
So, it is up to you what you choose to do. Just know you don't have to be able to write HTML code to blog at this type of site. I had to write in HTML code at other sites I have had in the past and it is very time consuming. So, I can do the same thing here in 1/10 to 1/100 the time depending upon what I am writing about or quoting from worldwide sites or direct from a book that I type in myself here and give the source credit always. You have to give the source always so you don't have problems with your site.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
