How it all seems to work

Each of us when we are little are taught all sorts of stuff. Some of it we find useful and some of it we don't find useful. I find the best way for me is if I'm not sure whether something is useful or not I sort of tuck it away in my head somewhere or write it down or mark it so I can find it wherever it is. But what I want to write here is only about what I, personally have found useful in my 60 years here on planet earth.

Having studied a lot about different religions, religions seem to be mostly about cultural stuff and of trying to survive in the climate that that religion began in. They all teach pretty much the same thing(Be kind to other beings and they will be kind to you). All the rest of the stuff people have fought about for thousands of years but actually may mean less than nothing except in some people's minds that were abused as kids. So they kill each other to feel secure because they were abused or molested as kids in some way. I wish I had found that religion was actually more useful than this but I didn't.

However, being kind to oneself, ones family, ones friends and for that matter all beings everywhere I have found to be the single most useful thing one needs to know to actually be a human being and to be worthwhile not only to oneself but to everyone.

Prosperity I found was actually giving kindness to oneself and all other beings. As one is kind in various kinds of ways eventually this kindness returns back to the one that gives all these kindnesses. Prosperity is not limited to financial prosperity by the way. It comes in almost infinite variations. So when you do a kindness you never know where or when or how this kindness will be returned. However, if you know that kindness is always just like money in the bank, this is good to know. However, it is useful to learn to be efficient in right mindful kindness toward all beings that doesn't put you or your friends or family in danger.

There are many kinds of ways to be kind to all life. I'd like to list some of the ways.

Praying for someone who is ill to not suffer anymore and to get better.

Helping someone who can't cook, cook their food so they can eat.

Teaching someone who has no trade a trade that is useful and needed right now.

Feeding someone who is starving right now but also helping if possible to find a way for that person to find work so they can feed themselves.

If you are wealthy enough to share some money with the poor keep it available so you have it ready to give when someone asks for help. Give them at least enough for one meal so they don't go hungry that day at the very least.

If you meet someone who is suicidal try to convince them to stay alive so their friends and family don't become despondent and take their lives too.

By treating others (that you feel you can trust) to be like friends and family, we keep what is best about human alive so it doesn't go extinct.

By treating those that you can safely with kindness and respect the circle of kindness grows as people treated with kindness treat others with kindness, and so on and so on.

These things I know for sure are the best of what it is to be a human being on earth.
