Mark Zuckerberg called out Donald Trump during his speech about Facebook’s future at the F8 developers conference.

"As I look around and I travel around the world, I'm starting to see people and nations turning inward, against this idea of a connected world and a global community. I hear fearful voices calling for building walls and distancing people they label as other," Zuckerberg said. "For blocking free expression, for slowing immigration, reducing trade, and in some cases around the world even cutting access to the Internet."
Trump has mentioned in the past that he wants to Mexico to pay for a wall on the border in order to keep out undocumented immigrants. He also said he plans on deporting all undocument immigrants as soon as he takes office.

Zuckerberg referenced the wall as an obstacle to Facebook's 10-year road map, in which the company plans to "connect the world." Zuckerberg's comments also took aim at oppressive regimes and governments who crack down on social networks and the Internet.
QUIZ: WHO SAID IT? TRUMP, HITLER, MUSSOLINI OR STALIN?
"It takes courage to choose hope over fear," Zuckerberg said. "People will always call you naïve but it's this hope and this optimism that's behind every important step forward."
