Obama gave the Republican Party enough rope and it hung itself

Why is the Republican party in disarray? One reason is Obama didn't attack the Republican party the way they expected. Obama being a very intelligent man stayed relatively calm about the whole thing and the Republican party (as you can see just committed suicide).

Whether this is a permanent State for the party or just a rebalancing or whether it fragments into 2 or more parties it is hard to say. However, in some ways the Republicans did this to themselves by lying to Republicans.

For example, 85 % of the American People Want Obamacare but Republicans don't tell their base this because it would upset them and they would realize it would be very very very hard to repeal Obamacare when you have this reality in place. So, by lying to the Republican base about this the Republican party has now imploded.

Now, you have candidates like Trump who is saying he is betrayed by the Republican party and you have Republicans burning their Republican voter registration cards online for the whole world to see.

Then you have Tea partiers who hate and are hated by the Conservative Republicans who are the party's base. You have Trump voters (many who have never voted before in their lifetimes because there was no Republican or Democratic Candidate that they felt they could ever support who are now fed up permanently with the Republican Party.

So, whether this is a permanent thing and the Republican party blows up and is no more or whether it explodes and becomes 2 or 3 parties, Obama has become a powerful transitional president for the Democrats a lot like Reagan and Clinton were. And of course there is Bush II who was the Iraq and Afghanistan war president which cost the country so far 11 trillion dollars in wars.

So, where do we go from here?

That is unknown. However, if you compare Obama and Trump you can see Trump is not ready to lead this country in the real world. In a fantasy world that is out of Trump's imagination he would be a good leader. But, from my present perspective he is just going to get millions of people killed both here and abroad.

However, right now it looks a lot like Trump by himself is the death of the Republican party all by himself.

 Republican Senator Lynsey Graham once said, "Trump is death by shooting and Cruz would be death by poison. What's the difference? You would be dead either way." I agree with this statement for both the American people and the Republican party and the world.
