Of course.
There is what people deserve to be paid and then there is what the market will bear which are two very different things. So, there is no question that people deserve to make 15 dollars an hour. However, can those businesses afford to pay that to workers?
That is likely the most important question. If the answer is no then those jobs likely will either move to another state or be taken over with robots that you can now buy for 2500 to 3500 dollars that will work 24 hours a day for 2 to 3 years until they wear out or they will be replaced with software on computers depending upon what their job was in the first place. And some people won't get hired that would have been also in all this. This is just reality.
So, it is good that some workers will make 15 dollars and hour in New York and California.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
