76% of respondents to a Survey experienced symptoms of PTSD following the outbreak in Africa.
end quote from NPR news broadcast on Monday November 12th 2018 PBS NEWSHOUR.
This likely means that people who didn't die and recovered or lost family members or friends to Ebola are now dealing with various degrees of PTSD there in Africa where this happened. over 3 out of 4 people are now experiencing PTSD.
It is also very likely that those who survived the fire in Paradise and who witnessed friends or relatives or co-workers be burned to death likely will deal with PTSD at some level too through the coming years. The more people that seek counseling in church or with professionals the more likely they will have good outcomes ongoing.
