The Arab Spring is affecting people in Greece and likely places like Italy in this new increased migrational dynamic too. This dynamic will likely increase because of what is now happening in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, and even if they are Europeans from Libya and all the other countries in the Middle East since Christians are now being driven out of places like Libya and Syria.
So, there is this new dynamic being driven by the lack of resources, war, revolution and poverty in many places that is increasing the level of friction between religions and even between sects of different religions. And likely this dynamic will get worse throughout the region before it gets any better. But, without more jobs and resources the likelihood is that it will continue to get worse as long as the population continues to increase. And since over half of the people in the middle east are under 30 years of age this increase in population is probably going to happen. So, logically looking at most places in the middle east( especially where there is no oil in the ground) things are likely to continue to get worse because of there not being enough resources for everyone to continue to stay alive, get a job and to get married and to raise a family. Obviously something has to give and what gives often in these situations is governments collapsing out of inability to satisfy enough of the needs of the citizens of that country.
