In Tibetan Buddhism the Female Diety (like Mary the mother of Jesus or like Quan Yin the Goddess of Mercy) is Tara. She is represented by the 21 Taras that operate in a circle or sphere of influence bringing health, long life, good fortune etc. All 21 at once are represented by Green Tara and the Tara mantra of
Green Tara Mantra: "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha" or phoenetically "Om Tar Eh Tu Ta rey Tu rey So Ha".
In this way you invoke the 21 Taras to protect you from all misfortunes and to create Good fortune in your life here on earth. They also protect you from untimely death like death by drowning or burning to death and poisoning etc.
Long Life White Tara is one of these 21 Taras. Her specialty is keep you alive so you can help the most beings to enlightenment including yourself. The Tara mantra also invokes her.
By God's Grace
I see myself as a Mystical Christian Tibetan Buddhist. Since Christianity sees Buddhism as a philosophy rather than as a religion there is no conflict in being both and many priests and ministers of Christianity see themselves as Buddhists as well as Christians.
Also 25% of Buddhists on earth believe in God by the way.
By this merit may I become like all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and the three times.
Note: The ten directions are for navigation through Galaxies in space and the three times are the past, present and future.
