Every time you purchase gas with your credit Card or debit card that's a satellite transaction. So, if satellites are down or temporarily inoperable do to a solar storm like we are experiencing right now you cannot use your Credit Card or Debit Card to purchase Gas.
So, one of the lessons when a Solar Storm occurs is that you might need more cash for your transactions especially while you are traveling because you likely won't be able to purchase gas with a card while a G1 to G5 storm is hitting earth.
I had this experience a couple of days ago (a few days after the 8th) because the satellite for the gas station I stopped at was down so luckily I had enough cash to purchase gas with in my pocket. But, if you were someone else who doesn't carry cash you would have been stuck and unable to travel or buy gas for your vehicle.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
