A More ergonomic keyboard?

When my son who is now 44 and more of a computer tech than I now (who loves to custom build PC free standing computers for gaming by the way), had me buy an ergonomic keyboard and a more ergonomic mouse with a track ball. However, we had set this up on my wife's IMAC. Recently she told me this was my computer which is laughable because she is the only one who uses it except for online shopping because it is most closely connected to our Color Printer.  

So,  the mouse and the keyboard aren't very useful on the IMac because my wife doesn't want want them connected. Both the Ergonomic keyboard and the ergonomic trackball mouse have things that look like miniature thumb drives. However, I only had one port that I could use for the miniature thumb drive that allows you to use them without downloading anything from the internet to use them on my Macbook pro.

So, I couldn't use my trackball on my Macbook pro very easily but I could use my ergonomic keyboard with my macbook pro so I inserted my mini thumbdrive thingey into the port on my Macbook pro laptop and away I went using the ergonomic keyboard with my macbook pro laptop.
