Is it being debated whether to tear down the Hoover Dam?

I would say the answer is "Yes" from what my wife and I heard on the news in Las Vegas. However, when I tried to get confirmation about this online I wasn't able to find it there. So, possibly this is a debate mostly taking place in Las Vegas and Nevada. However, the rest of the country also likely has something to say about this as well.
