Decoding Dyslexia: a Grassroots movement in California

  1. This appears to be a grass roots movement to address the problems of dyslexia in children before they become problematic in adults. The "Shaming" system is completely counterproductive that we find in all public schools. And yet, parents of dyslexic children are often prevented by the public school systems from learning even that their children are dyslexic. Because once that is discovered through testing dyslexic children are required to be taught differently than regular kids. So, school systems try to prevent parents from finding out their children are dyslexic. It is only a matter of limited monies for all children.

So, if your child is dyslexic public schools may destroy their self esteem and if boys make them a candidate for even jail or prison eventually because the shaming system of public schools only makes usually very intelligent dyslexic boys very angry because it ruins their lives and self esteem and has a somewhat different effect on girls. School Shaming is only destructive to the futures of all dyslexic children in the world.  Since up to 40% of all children are different learners over 40% of children taught in public schools that use the shaming method are harmed by public school throughout the world.

So, unless dyslexics are home schooled or go to a special school for teaching them often their lives are ruined by public school methods counterproductive to a dyslexics success in life.
