Idiot Terrorism

Idiot Terrorism is a form of psycholgical warfare against specifically the western Democracies. All of us in democratic countries and around the world should be mindful of this threat to our liberties.

Good examples of what I see as idiot terrorism are the "Shoe Bomber" "The Underpants Bomber" and "The Times Square Bomber". None of these people succeeded in killing anyone not even themselves. But what did they do? Each one caused millions if not billions of dollars in changes to the western democracies and our rights. The "Shoe Bomber" caused each of us to have to take our shoes off every time we board a plane.  I'm not sure yet what the "Underpants Bomber" did. And the likely effect of "The Times Square Bomber" will be that there will be thousands more cameras on everyone in New York City and probably eventually on everyone in every city even though it has been shown that this doesn't help security in catching anyone or preventing a crime anywhere. By the time the information has been obtained through these sources people are already blown up, mugged, killed etc. So no real time crime has been stopped though the culprits may or may not be caught by these cameras. But mostly, everyone's right to privacy has been lost. When I grew up the right to complete privacy was considered a sacred right. It has been stripped away slowly but surely throughout my lifetime. And who benefits from our mutual loss of every kind of privacy? Governments? Corporations? Who? Big Brother? As in 1984?

So, the idiot terrorism serves large corporations that may want to know things about us we wouldn't have any idea about ?   It is getting to where each of us wonders when we go to bed whether Big Brother is watching us make love to our wives. And what is that information going to be used for against us? Even any internet activity by any of us or any cell phone calls we make fall into this category. For example, a fighter jet was scrambled to find the "Times Square Bomber" in the Emirates Plane by locating his cell phone. And could have theoretically if necessary have targeted his cell phone with a missile like is done on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan and anywhere else on Earth that the U.S. Government decides. And now if U.S. Citizens are being found to be terrorists idiot or not, what does that do to the rights (that we still have) of every American citizen including you and me?

So, Idiot Terrorists may serve people like Osama Bin Laden who is a known Undercover CIA agent in the 1980s. But Idiot terrorists also serve organizations and people and governments who don't want people to have any rights at all. So as we all watch our rights worldwide diminish all this is important to consider. The slow chopping away of all rights of any kind to privacy only brings a world that looks like a "Brave New World" or "1984". So finding a way to protect the privacy of all citizens of earth is a way to prevent living in 1984 here in the U.S. and around the world.
