So many people have been interested in this compilation from Wikipedia regarding .html from 2013 that I thought I should let more of your share in this if you are interested.
If you don't know what html is it is the language that allows the Internet to work and display each page you see on your device. First you have your operating system of your device. Then above that operates the Internet in html. Then above that in servers exists TCPIP which allows translation between all types of devices around the world. So, information is always traveling (when you are online) from operating system on up through html to servers through TCPIP and then back through html to be displayed on your device and sometimes accessing back down to your operating system in your device.
