Because of 1 billion cell phones as of 2013 on earth and many of them smartphones with internet access html 5.0 appears to be partly designed with this new reality in mind in addition to Ipads, Tablets, laptops and desktops and other devices. So, I'm thinking this is a little like Windows going cross platform on newer Windows versions where there is great similarity between the functions on a windows smartphone with a Windows Tablet with a Windows laptop or a windows desktop.
You see the same types of similarities between Iphones and Ipads and on up towards laptops and desktops in Macbook pro laptops and Imac desktops.
So, this type of cross platform way of looking at the internet is likely here to stay even though it could morph in almost any direction from here as well. However, I think electronics likely will move in an even more personal way into jackets and clothes as well as into ears and onto glasses in various visible and non-visible ways as time goes on allowing people to be progressively more interactive with each other in various ways all over the world at one time more often.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
