"And you can survive to 105 if you're young at heart" Sinatra song.
This is the truth about you and me. We may age and we may die but we are as young as we think and feel. I remember hearing about a lady at 87 riding down on a European bobsled on Mt. Shasta. This was in the 1970s when I was in my early 20s and I first thought, "Why is she doing this!" and then I realized, 'this could be me riding down on a European bobsled when I'm 87 too." By the way I still ride sleds sometimes and I still ski off of ski lifts as well as the back country with friends, and I'm in my late 60s now. So, I can really relate to this old lady riding her bobsled on Mt. Shasta at age 87. I understand this.
And you can survive to a 105 if you're young at heart.
People who aren't really interested dying in their beds at home all alone understand what I'm saying here. It's better to burn out than to rust out if you know what I mean. That's my opinion at least.
And nothing makes me feel as young and alive as the wilderness whether it is the mountains, the oceans or the deserts, it's all beautiful!
It's all where mankind came from.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
