I was just reading an article that said that Cholera could last several years in Haiti because this is a particularly virulent strain. I think this might have been from a VOA article. When I went back to find it I couldn't.
The problem with Cholera lasting this long in Haiti is that it could spread to other countries in the Caribbean area including the Dominican Republic where there are already cases. There is a reported Case also in Florida as well. I'm sure there have been or will be cases throughout many of the Caribbean and in North, South and Central America over the next few years. I just think it is something people in the western hemisphere in all nations should be preparing for.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
