Flash Flood Watch

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through this afternoon... 

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* the Camp fire wildfire in Butte County, the Carr, Delta and 
  hirz wildfires in Shasta County and the Mendocino complex in 
  Lake County burn areas in northern California.

* Through this afternoon

* flash floods and debris flows will be a particular threat in the
  wildfire burn areas mentioned above. Heavy rainfall at times is
  possible over the burn areas with the greatest threat expected
  today. 

* Those traveling or in the areas along Interstate 5 and Highway 
  299 in the western portion of Shasta County, and along 
  portions of Highway 70 and the Skyway in Butte County should 
  be alert for possible Road problems due to flooding, rock, and 
  debris flows. 

Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

This could quickly become a dangerous situation. Residents,
emergency responders, persons traveling within the burn area
should remain alert and take action should heavy rain develop.

A Flash Flood Watch for a burn area means that conditions may
develop that lead to flash floods, Rockslides, and/or debris
flows.

Wind Advisory
Issued: 3:00 AM PST Nov. 23, 2018 – National Weather Service
... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM PST this
afternoon... 

* location... northern and central Sacramento Valley including 
  Redding, Red Bluff, Chico, Yuba City and Paradise. 

* Timing... through late this afternoon.

* Winds... south wind of 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* Impacts... blowing debris, downed tree branches, and power 
  outages possible. Weakened trees over the Camp fire burn scar 
  may fall. Hazardous driving conditions especially for small 
  cars and high profile vehicles. 

Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of 40 mph or higher are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult,
especially for small cars and high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
