Many people never get to this question because the most they can do is either survive or not survive.
So, that's all they can do: Survive!
If you are like me and by intelligence or circumstance or both where you can think about this then you are lucky. Because you might just help the human race, your family and all mankind survive.
IF there are enough of us that can ask this question the human race will not go extinct at some point in the next 100 to 500 to 1000 years.
Can we save the Earth from the extinction of all life upon it?
Do we have to move some or all of the human race to other planets?
Can we learn how to terraform the earth itself so it doesn't overheat to the point where humans(at least as we presently know what humans are) cannot survive anymore?
These are all questions about "What is productive to do?"
My question when I was 15 to 17 was: "Can I become enlightened in all ways?"
I looked around me at doctors, lawyers, business people etc. and thought to myself that there already were enough people thinking like this.
So, my question was : "Can I become enlightened and share my enlightenment with all mankind?"
My answer was: "Maybe!"
So, I moved forward on this possibility.
So, what is possible to do mostly has to do with your abilities and your capacity to be in the right place at the right time.
So, "What is productive to do with your life?"
This is a good question to ask if you are beyond "just surviving" at this point in your life.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
