Most destructive California Fires in History

1. Camp Fire (right now) 6700 structures burned November 2018
2. Tubbs Fire                    5,636 Structures burned October 2017
3. Tunnel Fire                   2,900 structures burned October 1991
4. Cedar Fire                     3,820 structures burned October 2003
5. Valley Fire                     1,995 structures burned September 2015
6. Witch Fire                     1,650  structures burned October    2007
7. Carr Fire                        1,604 structures burned  July 2018
8. Nun's Fire                      1,355 structures burned   October 2017
9. Thomas Fire                   1,063 structures burned December 2017
10. Old Fire                         1,003 structures burned October 2003

By the way the Thomas Fire is the one that burned from Santa Paula and Ventura over to above Montecito then when the rains came the mudslides killed 25 people one night. There were boulders that came out of the hills and went through homes 10 feet high and about 20 feet long with the mud and rocks and cars were found at the beach many miles away from where they had been parked. So, we are in a whole new world with new flood plains in California where people cannot even rebuild in Montecito even though their homes were 10 million to 20 million dollars homes. Even Oprah's neighbor's house is gone but hers is still there by some miracle. Her place is worth at least 50  million dollars and still intact.
