* WINDS...Northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph are expected
  to continue much of the time through the afternoon. Isolated
  gusts to 55 mph are possible in the most wind prone areas.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially
  for drivers of high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.

Air Quality Alert

Fresno-Kern-Kings-Madera-Mariposa-Merced-Tulare-Tuolumne-
1218 PM PST Tue Nov 13 2018

The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District has issued
an Air Quality Alert on November 10, 2018, due to smoke impacts
from surrounding wildfires for San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced,
Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare, and valley portion of Kern
counties.

This Air Quality Alert is in effect until the fires are
extinguished.

Exposure to particle pollution can cause serious health problems,
aggravate lung disease, cause asthma attacks and acute
bronchitis, and increase risk of respiratory infections.

Residents are advised to use caution as conditions warrant.
People with heart or lung diseases should follow their doctor`s
advice for dealing with episodes of unhealthy air quality.

Additionally, older adults and children should avoid prolonged
exposure, strenuous activities or heavy exertion, as conditions
dictate.
